Sack Hunger

When we team up, we can all make a difference.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Raymond James, Moffitt Cancer Center, The Tampa Tribune/ and United Healthcare are teaming up to “Sack Hunger and Stack Toys” to help support families in need this holiday season. Through the generosity and support of Tampa Bay-area residents and Buccaneers fans, the Sack Hunger food drive helps volunteers from Feeding Tampa Bay, Metropolitan Ministries and local area food banks collect items to feed thousands of hungry families each year.

This year’s drive will also partner with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve to collect new, unwrapped toys for the annual Toys for Tots drive. The donated toys are distributed to underprivileged children throughout the Tampa Bay area. Join us as we unite to bring smiles to the faces of children and families during the holiday season.

Game Day Food Drive and Toy Collection – Sunday, November 15

Buccaneers ticket holders may also contribute food and new, unwrapped toys at designated locations outside of Raymond James Stadium entrances when the Bucs host the Dallas Cowboys on November 15 at 1 p.m. Bring your canned, dry goods and toys to the game and deposit them in the treasure chests. Click HERE for a map of the designated collection points.

Food banks also accept supplies year-round to help those in need. You can help by donating to facilities directly or hosting a food drive of your own.

Visit the benefitting organization websites to learn more about how you can help.
